We are currently looking for a Corporate Law Clerk to join our team.

Role overview:
In your role you will interface with clients as well as the legal team on a daily basis.
This role will be located in our Vaughan office (this is a full-time in-office position).
Positions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing clerical services to the Firm’s Corporate legal services practice;
- Prepare / Draft legal correspondence and various legal documents
- Prepare and manage all corporate legal services including incorporations, amalgamations, articles of amendment, resolutions and related documents
- Prepare closing documents for Asset and Share purchases and dispositions
- Minute book maintenance
- Calendar management for Partner and Associate Lawyer(s)
- Working directly with clients to manage and participate in the creation of documents.
- Ensure best in class legal services are provided.
- Opening and creating client files digitally and physically
- Reporting and Closing Files
- Regular maintenance and organization of client files (paper and electronic)
- Coordinating with process servers and couriers
- Regular communication with clients, other law firms, and internal staff
- Organizing files and maintaining filing and logging systems;
- Preparing expense claims;
- Administrative work including but not limited to scanning, filing, answering the phone, sending/receiving courier deliveries, and greeting clients at the front door

- Assisting with billing duties and collecting billings as needed;
- Working with LEAP, MS Office, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, ESC, and other tools and other technologies that the Firm uses;
- Problem solving with minimal supervision;
- Vacation coverage of other clerks and administrative personnel as needed
- Communicating in a professional manner with lawyers, other team members and clients; and
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned to you by the Firm from time to time.
Required: 4 years minimum experience working as a Corporate Law Clerk.
Job Type & Schedule: Full-time, Permanent Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Compensation: Salary will be based on experience.
